Michael has over 15 years of search experience executing senior executive placements across a broad range of business sectors which include mining, renewable energy, forestry, construction, financial services and information technology.
Prior to founding Alexander Whitehead, Michael was part of the global mining team and industrial practice at Korn Ferry International. Michael is experienced in all levels of search, from Board Directorships, senior management to C-suite positions, and he has established a reputation among many western Canadian based organizations for delivering results on technically and geographically complex search assignments. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts. He speaks English, French and conversational Spanish.

Terry has over 15 years of experience in client relationship management. Prior to founding Alexander Whitehead, Terry served in progressively senior business development positions in Alberta, British Columbia, and the United States before transitioning to a senior leadership role in executive search for a global recruitment firm. Terry was responsible for advancing its mining division and launching the executive search practice. Within the natural resources and industrial sectors, he successfully concluded searches at the board, executive, and senior management levels.
Terry is an active community volunteer and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Vancouver International Film Festival. Terry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Lethbridge and has completed several industry-related courses and seminars.

Sam has over ten years of talent acquisition experience, primarily in the industrial sector, with a focus on servicing clients in the forestry and mining sectors across western Canada.
Prior to joining Alexander Whitehead, Sam worked in progressively senior client management roles in Canada and the United Kingdom. In Canada, he worked for a large multinational recruitment firm where he launched the forestry division serving clients based across western Canada and the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. During this time, Sam successfully completed searches for clients ranging from large publicly-traded companies to smaller privately held forest product producers. In addition to his work in forestry, Sam also has experience in mining, manufacturing, construction, and financial services.
Sam continues to develop his experience in natural resources and he has attended several industry events. Sam attended Northumbria University in the United Kingdom and focused his studies in Real Estate Management. He is an active member of the community and is involved with a number of local charities.
